Ryan Fisher, Director of Photography
Ryan Fisher's aerial experience began as an award winning news photographer covering natural
disasters such as Volcano eruptions in Alaska, tsunamis, and forest fires. He has also aerial photographed
oceanic oil spills, land oil spills and chemical leeks. In addition to industrial photography and video
Ryan has toured as an embedded photographer with the Alaska National guard. He has specialized in photographing
dangerous situations. From these experiences he set out to develop an unmanned aerial platform that would be
able to shoot dramatic flying artistic camera movements as well as dangerous shots. He accomplished this
by building remote controlled helicopters and custom designing camera mounts for his
specific needs. The results have earned international acclaim and pushed the boundaries of conventional
photography. Ryan Fisher joined Flying Sensors in 2007 and has helped design and implement their manned
and unmanned helicopter solutions
