About Flying Sensors
Flying Sensors is a national provider of aerial photography, video, UAV products, and aerial sensing. We are dedicated to providing a low cost solution for capturing pictures, video and data from the air or ground/air combination. The synchronized video, picture, sensor, and telemetry data (altitude, heading, speed, latitude, longitude, etc.) allows detail that wasn't available by traditional means of aerial data acquisition.
Flying Sensors utilizes both manned and unmanned aircraft to ensure that the imaging requirements of the customer are met. The aerial imaging is ideal for time-laps studies, commercial or residential real estate, farm management, motion picture, newscasts, property insurance documentation, environmental studies and any other application requiring detailed aerial imaging or sensing. The company utilizes state of the art technology to fly at a wide variety of altitudes, temperatures, and conditions, without requiring personnel in the air. This increases safety in acquiring the images/data and minimizes the cost.
The missions to gather the images/data can be flown by our trained staff or by our customers, who chose to purchase their equipment from Flying Sensors. The Flying Sensors imaging services include pre-planning, flight services, image/data acquisition, and editing, We can provide the results back to you on DVD/CD/Internet or prints. Advanced editing and other presentation services are also available. We use our own products every day. This insures that both products and services are of the highest quality.

The ability to integrate and test sensing equipment in multiple UAV configurations and environmental conditions, results in accurate data collection and analysis. Flying Sensors has developed strategic relationships with top research universities in the areas of imaging, combustion, air quality modeling, sensing, numerical analysis, and UAV. This access to research facilities allows detailed modeling and testing of industry solutions. Our location in Utah allows UAV testing in extreme conditions including desert, mountains, snow, and heat. Our testing capabilities are also improved by our close proximity to Hill Air Force Base, Dugway Proving Grounds, and other key government facilities.
